Riders need to have a valid UCI ID or UCI License with one of the following Oceania member nations: American Samoa, Australia, Belau, Cook Islands, Fiji, Guam, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Northern Mariana Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, or Tahiti.
If you do not have a UCI ID or License please visit the website of your corresponding National Federation for Cycling to learn more about applying for your UCI ID or License.

RADL GRVL is a Continental Championship. Thus, winners in the following categories will be awarded automatic qualification to the Gravel World Championship to be held October 10-11, 2026 in Nannup, Australia:
Elite Male, Elite Female and Age groups 19–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74 and 75–79.

There are 3 aid stations (44, 79, 102km) + one Supported Feed Zone for riders at 79.5km. Please see page 18 of our Rider Guide for more information on the Aid Stations here.

No. All Blue Course riders will start together at 8:00 am.

All age groups will be competing over the 127 km (Adelaide Hills Blue Course) distance at RADL GRVL for their Gravel World Championship spots.

No, if you do not want to vie for a spot at the Gravel World Championships you are NOT required to purchase a UCI ID (or License) to ride in the RADL GRVL event. You can compete for category prizes in RADL GRVL only. We will have separate podiums and prizes for RADL GRVL. Please see information on the RADL GRVL awards on Page 31 of the RADL GRVL Rider Guide here.
You only need a UCI ID or License if you want to have the opportunity to qualify for the Gravel World Championships.
